AVDASI 2¶

The AVDASI 2¹ design, build and test unit is a keystone of the Aerospace MEng and BEng programmes at the University of Bristol.

This site holds technical resources for the unit, including documentation and code samples, which should be used alongside the wider unit documentation. It's aimed at students on the unit, but we're publishing it openly in case it's useful to others. If you use it, we'd love to hear about it.

As of the current teaching year, this site is largely for the Avionics subdiscipline. See the unit SharePoint for session schedules and other resources.

This site is part of the AVDASI 2 GitHub org, which contains a number of useful repositories. These pages are built with Zensical, in the theme shared with the CADE30008 Flight Dynamics & Advanced Control unit.

We count visits with GoatCounter, which sets no cookies. What it stores is a daily tally per page, with the country, browser, screen width and referring site counted separately, so they can't be combined back into a person. Your IP address and browser string are held in memory for eight hours so a reload isn't counted twice, and neither is written to disk. Their privacy page sets out the detail. We look at it to see which pages are used.
